Special Funds Released for School Nutrition Programs

The Minnesota Department of Education is distributing a special allocation of funds directly to schools to alleviate supply chain disruptions in school meal programs. These funds must be used exclusively to buy unprocessed or minimally processed foods, such as milk.

Are there funds designated for your school? Check the SCA Funding Allocation by Sponsor list. (Excel File) (Sponsors highlighted in blue must submit an Attestation Statement.)

How do you get your allocated funds? Submit the Opt-In Form before EOD Friday, Feb. 3, 2023.

Sponsors that did not submit a Verification Report by Jan. 6, are not eligible for funding and are not included on the awardee list.

Funds will be distributed in late February.
