CACFP Youth and Adult Care Programs

You're not a school. You have more than just a one-time catering need. You might not have kitchen facilities to prepare and serve meals. We understand! CKC Good Food has served non-school clients for years and years, and can tailor a USDA-compliant food program to your needs, facilities and those you serve.

Following the guidelines for the USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), we provide catered meals for out-of-school youth enrichment programs, such as summer camps and after-school programs, and adult care programs like Meals on Wheels. Many of the organizations we serve are dedicated to addressing food insecurity among child and senior populations in the Twin Cities. We are happy to partner with you in that work by preparing and delivering hot entrees and side dishes, or bagged meals of deli sandwiches or salads and accompaniments -- either way, your meals will thrill the people you serve and help keep them engaged with your organization.

Youthprise Helps with Small Out-of-School Programs

Many smaller youth enrichment programs serving CKC Good Food meals work through the Youthprise Nutrition Program to oversee their food service. Youthprise can help alleviate the administrative burden and logistical challenges involved with operating a federally compliant food service program for children under the age of 18 in high poverty areas. To learn more about working with Youthprise, visit the website or contact Christa DeBoer, Youthprise Nutrition Program Director at 612.564.4858, x. 89 or christa@youthprise.org.
