Each school day, CKC Good Food proudly provides over 25,000 breakfast, lunch, after-school snacks and at-risk after-school meals to more than 100 different sites. That amounts to approximately 60,000 lunches a week, or about 2.1 million lunches each school year, all prepared in our central kitchen or clients' kitchens.
We aim to please our consumers with fresh, healthy meals they'll actually want to eat and multiple menu rotations to sustain their long-term interest. Food Service Managers love us for the ways in which we help simplify daily tasks, and reduce the stress of USDA / Minnesota Department of Education compliance and Minnesota Department of Health visits. With more than 150 years of collective food service experience, we can help make your food service program the best it can possibly be.
Public charter schools and select private schools that participate in the National School Lunch / School Breakfast Programs turn to CKC Good Food for vended meal service or food service management adhering to the USDA's Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act guidelines. As needed, we can provide tailored menus to appeal to specific ethnic populations.
With our help, private schools, whether preK, K-5, K-8, 9-12 or K-12, can create dynamic, multifaceted food service programs that appeal to their students.
Even the youngest of taste buds love CKC's kid-friendly food. We serve many CACFP and private day care centers, including HEADSTART Programs, faith-based preschools and multi-site day care operations.
When school's out, CKC continues to help meet the nutritional needs of youth and vulnerable adult populations through out-of-school programs, adult day care, summer camps and more. We are a proud provider of meals for the Youthprise Nutrition Program, which facilitates food service for many Twin Cities nonprofit organizations that may not have the resources to manage and offer a federally compliant nutrition program on their own.
