Jason DeJarlais, joined CKC Good Food in June 2024 as our Procurement Manager. He's been busy getting up to speed on the company's management of USDA Foods (commodities) on behalf of our public school clients and refining our systems for ordering and managing food and supplies for the food service programs we serve. He's come to enjoy the wide array of responsibilities.
Prior to CKC Good Food, Jason worked for a mainline food distributor as a Commodities Buyer for three years, which built on his years of experience as an Associate Category Manager, a Buyer and an Inventory Control Manager.
Outside of work, you'll find him with his family, watching the Minnesota Vikings and doing DIY projects. He takes on DIY projects that are not for the faint of heart, like ripping out all the carpet in the house and putting down hardwood floors! He also likes listening to true crime and comedy podcasts.
He and his lovely wife Bekah have been married for 13 years. They met on the job, when they both worked for mainline food distributor, US Foods. Today, Bekah is a sales rep at Upper Lakes Foods. Jason and Bekah's young son, Lincoln (Linc), is a goofball who loves Paw Patrol and chicken nuggets. They also have two dogs, Rocky (9 years old) and Rosy (15-16 years old). They love living in the western suburb of Rockford, which is a looong commute to Eagan. Jason starts his work day extra early to avoid both the morning and evening rush hours!
Rosy, Gary and Rocky. Gary (middle) died in May, the same week Jason started at CKC Good Food.
